Therapeutic Consultation (Waiver Services)

RT and Wellness provides Therapeutic Recreation Consultation services through the Virginia Medicaid Developmental Disability (DD) Waiver. Recreational Therapy Consultants work closely with support coordinators/case managers, families, group homes, residential sponsors, day programs and/or organizations to ensure services align with each person’s unique goals and preferences.

    • Autism spectrum disorder

    • Brain injury

    • Physical disabilities

    • Mental health conditions and More

Sessions are held in-person, in-home, in the community, or virtually.

Private Pay Services (Non-Waiver)

Who we serve:

  • Adults, Teenagers and Children

  • Individuals with Autism, PTSD, Anxiety, TBI, Spinal Cord Injury, Dementia, and More
